One of the things I have done is create a digital signature....
this seriously is super duper close to my handwriting, I must be so boring, it should be curlier or more artistic maybe that's something else I ought to put on the list. Oh Lordy, how do you get a cool signature? If you want to do the same here's the link to the website I used, it's so easy and there are 3 different ways o go about it - fun times.
In other news I got this package in the post today :) I am rather excited as to what I hope (fingers crossed) I get to make with these. Love the colours and in the background there is one of my 100w daylight stimulation bulbs - they are making life so much happier.
I also did some practice with my camera today, trying to get the effect I wanted 'in camera' and do some portrait work; an area which I really find nerve wrecking even after last years selfie project. So I am showing you these, untouched, straight from the camera in the hopes that you won't laugh and think me a terrible photographer - I am always learning, always willing to improve..... I am rather proud of that :)
Lastly, I promise I shall be working hard on my new Sew Cherry Blossom items tomorrow if it kills me!
Love and Hugs
UPDATE ~
Oh my Goodness, oh. my. goodness. I am dry of mouth, shaky of hand and more than a little dizzy; I have just spent an hour with my sewing machine and it was awful!! I haven't felt so uncomfortable in a very long time, so out of control, so scared....I was trying to be slow and careful but it was growling a me and revving like a crazy teenage car driver; it wanted to go fast and when it did I had no control, none, zilch.
Powerless, I was as trying to sew a bird - I had it all worked out but NO! Sewing machines are the devil's work. I can't go back up there, you can't make me.....I'm just going to sit here in the corner rocking until someone comes with chocolate....
My sewing machine bird - you can tell it's a bird right?? aaahhhh I'm shaking, I'm shaking like a Polaroid picture but not in a good way, oh God.....

Been wanting to try out those daylight light bulbs actually. Any good? Looking forward to seeing what you make with those colourful supplies!
Oh you are not alone. January is so depressing :( I've no motivation to do anything! Roll on Feb (think it's tomorrow). I've two assignments due in 10 days and no studying done..again :( x
I totally want a digital signature now! I haven't used a sewing machine since I made a ridiculously lopsided cushion in Home Economics many years ago (and seriously, how hard can a square cushion be?) Glad your daylight bulbs are working, Lauran x
Loladee - you have to get one, they come now as simple replacement bulbs for standard light fittings :) Mine are both 100w and YES, they work :)
Oh Belle - you poor angel! January is the worst, yet they make you work so hard at this time of year when you're down and generally ill too. Then it's Summer and you have hayfever and just want to be outside :(
I feel your pain - but yes tomorrow is February :)
Lauran - hahaha, Home Ec should have been warning enough but no I went and bought a sewing machine a few years ago thinking I'd get it in the end. I can go straight just fine but corners and curves, forget it!!
Daylight bulbs rock my world :)
YAY for February, sweet Carrie!!!!
I just heard the first blackbird's song!!!!! Spring is not far!!!! :D
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your digital signature -- I want one too! ;D
Oh I'm so jealous of your sewing skills... I cannot sew at all!
Sending lots of love your way!
xxxx
Maybe make something more simple next time. Like little cup mats or a lap blankie. I tend to only make fleece quilts with nice big squares. :O)
Annuk! - 5 mins and it's February, eek spring is getting closer xxxxxx
Kristianna - hahaha, you are so right! I have made a few bags before but that was all straight lines. I just went for it today and wasn't prepared but I have my bird now - handsewn, lol xxxxx
