I have been gaining strength from my arty and crafty endeavours but all in all life is exhausting and I'm not doing too well. There are a great deal of things I wish I was doing but I have to give in, find some grace and work through this.
So, I have been unable to concentrate and though I opened my photography shop up again, I haven't felt strong enough to hold the big clear out sale I need to have, nor have I listed any new pieces from before Christmas! My sewing is coming along very slowly but I am so pleased with my birds and garlands - once I'm ready I shall release them into the world.
In the meantime I would love to share with you a few of my favourite artists' webpages:
** Hum With Me (website) and Hum With Me (Etsy) - I think therefore I hum....
I have lots of June's postcards and a notebook but this is my current favourite and I have it up in my room :)
Again, my current fave, but I have yet to gather together the money to buy it :(
** Matt W. Moore - especially his 'Vectorfunk' pieces.
too cool for school
I hope you'll check them out and give love - or simply enjoy and gain happiness from these talented people :)

Hi Carrie,
I am with you on this one. Sorting out mental health problems is a long and painful process. Like you I found craft helps a lot. I have found knitting and crochet particularly healing, and hand sewing as well.
Sweet Carrie, my warmest hugs are going out to you from the Alps!!!!
Love you! xxxx
Ahhh, I know your struggle so well. Most of 2012 (heck most of 2011) was much the same, though I was able to create art quite often--it was therapy and it helped get me through my days. I thought I was back on the healthy road but an ill conceived experiment in volunteering has sent me astray so it's back on the Legos again (I love your analogy).
I hope you are doing better and I urge you to keep trying. Maybe putting some shoes on while walking on the legos will help protect you against the sharp edges. But keep going.
