Liberating my Art

I know I have promised a giveaway and believe me I shall think of something soon - my brain is slightly, no that isn't right, it is very befuddled these days with the many dreams and wishes I have for myself and my wee family. I simply can't think straight at all.

I have instead been enjoying a period of time wherein I have 'Stumbled' with StumbleUpon and have been nosey and looked at the blogrolls of people whose blogs I like and found some really great places. Naturally Pinterest has continued to have it's wonderful, inspirational hold on me as well, hehehe; is it terrible that I am addicted to great ideas, tattoos and art? I think not :D I have already planned my next 2 tattoos, one of which my hubby is going to get with me! Eeek, I am so excited.

One thing I have discovered in my travels is the fabulous blog of Kat and her very exciting postcard swap - details of which can be found here. Oh it's a fabulous idea and as I myself have organised photography swaps a plenty in the past I am glad to join one which is organised by another lady.

'Liberate Your Art' is a delightful idea best described by the lady herself......

' THE WORLD NEEDS MORE ART, LIBERATE YOUR ART
The Liberate Your Art postcard swap encourages you to create, share and liberate your art into the world, where it can do its greatest good.
Join participants from around the world as we liberate our art through the mail and brighten the day of those near and far. See what good mailing your art can bring!'

I'm really nervous but I am going to do it; I am going to send 5 postcards to Kat so she can send them on to 5 people across the world and I can thus spread a little Cherry Blossom Tattoo love. In return I shall, with hope, receive 5 back and one from Kat herself! I am going to get stuck into it in the next few days and get those postcards printed. It's exactly what I need to fire up my love for photography again and get to know some other arty people. I am genuinely excited and feel somewhat relived to have found this by accident, just when I needed it.

I think this piece, new in the shop probably tomorrow will be one of my postcards :)

Love and Hugs

See what good mailing your art canswa
