Ummm, the next post shall have more info... for now - Yipppeee! and Thank You All! xxxxx
Today, after a long weekend at my allotment working hard in the cold and damp, I just want to to my Scavenger Hunt, not think too much and have some hot food :) A girl has to get her priorities right, hehehe.
So here we go, the fifth week and an Allotment special...
Hidden - I have loads for this prompt but I have just chosen these 2, the first being our 'Best Kept Allotment' commemorative silver Gnome, hidden behind the water butt, covered in grass and jammed up against the bug hotel. Oh dear...
The 2nd picture is some gorgeous parsnips that were harvested today, hidden for 10 months below the soil. A wait that is well worth it - yummy in my tummy :)
Plain - We are creating a cosy hideaway in our shed and I have been painting it plain white. It's going to be fabulous in the end with colourful curtains and cushions and some bunting and what not (as well as tools!)
Left - Wow, what a difference between the left and right hand sides of this big flower bed. My hubby worked so hard weeding half on Saturday, I think this took about an hour, worth it though.
Fast - This was the best I could get on camera. I saw a great deal of spiders running very fast as I cleared out the shed before getting into the painting. Thank goodness my phobia of them has lessened over the years, there is no time to be squeamish on an allotment. This satin was quick drying too - no lie :)
Peace - ahh, after working hard it was lovely to sit in the car waiting for the hubby, just listening to the birds and watching the sun go down.
Remember to check out the other entries in the Hunt by going to the linky party over at Ashley's Blog here
Hugs and Love

A lovely story to go with your finds this week, Carrie. What a magnificent (BIG) garden! That last photo does give me peace.
It was quite clever of you to use the parsnips for hidden and your peace photo is really beautiful.
